The Matri Puja was conducted in VKV Kharsang on 5th February 2012. 47 out of 50 students of class 10 performed the Puja to their mothers. The 90 minutes long programme ended with sharing of experience by the parents and students.

Workshop on Methods of Research and Proposal Writing on Culture and Development Issues of Northeast India at VKIC

Vivekananda Kendra Institute of Culture, Guwahati organised a four-day workshop on Methods of Research and Proposal Writing on Culture and Development Issues of Northeast India from 1-4 February 2012. The workshop module aimed to fill the gaps in methods of research, develop research capacity of participants as well as concretise study concepts and proposals to a deliverable research output

The Foundation Day of VKIC, Guwahati was held on 31 January, 2012 (Tuesday) at 5.00 p.m. in the Williamson Magor Auditorium of the Institute in which the annual VKIC SANMAN was also awarded.

१२ जनवरी २०१२, दिन बृहस्पतिवार, सुबह ११ बजे से संजय गांधी स्मारक महिला महाविद्यालय (शेखपुरा) के प्रांगण में स्वामी विवेकानन्द की १४९वीं जयन्ती समारोह को युवा दिवस के रूप में मनाया गया। इसकी अघ्यक्षता कालेज की प्राचार्या श्रीमती पार्वती कुमारी ने की। मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में पटना के वरीय शल्य चिकित्सक डॅा. नरेन्द्र प्रसाद थे।

रविवार माद्य कृष्ण सप्तमी १५ जनवरी २०१२ को विवेकानन्द केन्द्र कन्याकुमारी पटना शाखा में स्वामी विवेकानन्द की १४९ जयन्ती श्रद्धा एवं उत्साहपूर्वक मनायी गयी। विवेकानन्द केन्द्र के कार्यालय पर समारोह का आयोजन राष्ट्र पुनः निमार्ण के लिए युवाओं के आह्नान से हुआ।

विवेकानन्द केन्द्र कन्याकुमारी, बिहार प्रान्त का ‘‘विजय ही विजय’’ युवा अभियान का तृतिय चरण नेतृत्व विकास  महाशिविर के रुप में भागलपुर में दिसम्बर २५ से २९ दिसम्बर २०११ को सरस्वती विद्या मंदिर, नरगा कोठी, चंपानगर में सफलतापूर्वक सम्पन्न हुआ। युवा ही युवा अभियान बिहार के १८ जिलों के महाविद्यालयों और विश्वविद्यालयों में सम्पन्न हुआ। द्वितिय चरण के रुप में एकदिवसीय शिविरों के माध्यम से चयनित ११७ प्रतिभागियों ने प्रतियोगिता में भाग लिया। बिहार और मध्य प्रान्त के ७० कार्यकताओं ने योगदान दिया।

Our school, organized Viveka Bhanu- 2012 a Mega Suryanamaskar program- on 28th January 2012 in District level for the youth of today, to keep the body & mind healthy- under the magic spell of Swami Vivekananda’s message, “We want that education by which character is formed, strength of mind is increased, the intellect is expanded & by which one can stand on one’s own feet.”
