Engineer by Qualification; worked in Arunachal for short period and then in Assam with HQs at Guwahati from 1988 to 1995. The construction of building and also initial work of VKIC came up under his supervision and he contributed substantially for the growth of organizational work at Guwahati. Later he was in Delhi to look after completion of Vivekananda Kendra International Bhavan upto 2010. From 2011 till 2020 he was in Guwahati as In-charge of NE works.
