समाज में उत्कृष्ट सेवाओं के लिए विवेकानंद केंद्र कन्याकुमारी के प्रकल्प नीडम को राष्ट्रीय महात्मा गांधी पुरस्कार से सम्मानित किया गया। यह सम्मान गणतंत्र दिवस के अवसर पर भोपाल के रविंद्र भवन में आयोजित एक भव्य कार्यक्रम में प्रदान किया गया। कार्यक्रम के मुख्य अतिथि, मध्य प्रदेश के राज्यपाल मंगू भाई पटेल, ने नीडम को यह प्रतिष्ठित सम्मान प्रदान किया। यह पुरस्कार नीडम को वर्ष 2022 के दौरान समाज में किए गए अद्वितीय कार्यों के लिए दिया गया।

VK NARDEP launched “Vasudhā”, an experiential digital exhibition on sustainable living on 12th January 2025 at Vivekanandapuram, Kanyakumari. 250 people attended the inauguration ceremony.

VK Eknath Vibhag, organized a series of Samartha Bharat Parva celebrations from 25th December 2024 to 21st January 2025. Events and competitions were held at 11 locations, with a total of 485 participants.

VK Guruvayur organized the Swami Vivekananda Jayanti Celebration at Saraswathy Vidyanikethan Central School, Engandiyur, on 13th January 2025, with a participation of 400 attendees.

VK Thiruvananthapuram organized the Samartha Bharat Parva programme at Sree Sankara Vidyapeedom, Manikanteswaram, on 17th January 2025. A total of 99 participants attended the event.
