Kishori Shibir was held in VKV, Tezpur on 1.11.2013. The purpose of the shibir was the all round development of the adolescent girls. The program started with 3 omkar shanti path and lightening the lamp by the chief guest . The chief guest for the day was Dipali Upadhyay. She is the Samvag Pracharika, Rashtra Sevika Samiti Kendra, Tezpur.

Vivekananda Kendra started relief work in "Phailin cyclone" affected area in Odisha under the guidence of Odisha Prant Sangathak - Ravi Naidu. Here is brief report.

13th October 2013( Sunday at 5.0 pm to 7.0pm): Mega State level youth leadership Development Programme has been inaugurated by Shri Setong Sena, Hon.ble Minister for Agriculture ,Horticulture and Animal Husbandry etc as the Chief Guest .Reverent Swami Chinmayananda ji one of the Pioneer of Ramakrishna Mission ,who started School and Hospital in AP as a Guest of Honour and Reverent Vishweshananda ji  ( Partha Maharaj)

10th October Saraswati Pooja held at Vivekananda Kendra, Mysore. All Anandalaya children worshiped Goddess Saraswati.  Children took part in Bhajan session at 6 pm. At the end Prasadm distributed to all children. 

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Mysore branch organized “ SPANDANA” – A Personality Development Camp for students from Meghalaya at Sri Sri Pejawara Swamiji’s Free Hostel at Jayaprakasha Narayana Nagar, Mysore. Camp started on 3rd October. Surya namaskar & Yoga , patriotic songs, Bhjan, creative games, shlokas and stories are the part of camp. 28 students from class 1 to 8th standard attended. On 12th camp concluded.
