This month newsletter brings out how Swami Vivekananda was one of the earliest modern thinker-seer to challenge the man-centric vision of nature that was responsible for the vast destruction of the environment.
JBM-Vivekananda Kendra Hospital, Shuklai, BTAD, Assam recently organized one Free Surgery Camp in association with Remote Area Medical Corp.USA (RAM). Two Surgeons from RAM, Dr.Gangadhar Maddiwar and Dr.Qutub Nadaf attended the camp. Dr.Monoj Talukdar, Anesthesiologist from Marwari Charitable Hospital, Guwahati and Dr.Rajiv Baruah, Anesthesiologist from Shivsagar Civil Hospital assisted the Surgeons.

Spoken English two days in a week- 37 students.
A GRAND HINDU SAMMELAN AT VIVEKANANDA KENDRAM KANNIYAKUMARI
On 3rd September forenoon, there was a Painting Competition for the students of classes V to VII. Students from 6schools took part. On the same day, in the afternoon was arranged a narration competition for the VIth and VII th classes.Topic was ‘narration of any incident’ from Swamiji’s life. Students from 9 schools took part.
Vivekanand Kendra Kanyakumari, Branch - Chinchwad had organized a 2 day shibir for teachers around PCMC area at Janaprabodini High School on 21st and 22 September 2013. The module form Vivekanand Kendra Kanyakumari under section Yoga Pratiman "Samarth" especially for teachers. This shibir was arranged to help the teachers get a better insight on the most noble profession in the whole world - Teaching. After parent the teachers play a very crucial part in developing a child turning him into a responsible citizen of India.
Vivekananda Kendra Arun Jyoti had organized “TEJAS”, a personality development workshop for the Students of class VIII to X of V.C.S, Itanagar on 21 September. The programme Stating Desh Bhakti Geet by Yayir Rai, VKAJ Karyakarta, who highlighted the importance of the workshop By Shri kalyan Dutta, Nagar Pramukh, VKAJ, Itanagar.
