This month newsletter is about how the whole humanity is undergoing a complete transformation.
This change is happening around us. Nevertheless we have a choice as to whether we want to change ourselves - as an individual. What is the nature of this change? How does this change makes a holistic transformation? This newsletter presents you an excerpt on this subject of change from an interview with Gary Zukav – author of ‘Dancing Wu Li Masters’ – which was a pioneering book on physics and Eastern philosophy in early 1970s. However the interview itself is in 2012.
The first meeting of the Swami Vivekananda Sardhashati Samaroh Samiti was held on 4th December, 2012. We are thankful to the honourable Sanrakshas and members for their participation in the meeting. The suggestions made by the members have been noted and every effort will be made to implement them.
The year 2013 is the 150th birth anniversary year of the great patriot-monk and nation-builder of our country – Swami Vivekananda. In order to celebrate this occasion in a befitting manner in these Isles as the part of its national programme, by spreading the message and the principles of the great Swamiji to every individual of these islands, a Samiti has been formed in the name Swami Vivekananda Sardha Shati Samaroha Samiti (SVSSSS).
25,26,27 नव 2012 को स्वामी विवेकानन्द सार्धशती समारोह के उपलक्ष्य में मध्यप्रदेश लोक शिक्षा संचनालय द्वारा प्रदेश के चयनित शिक्षकों व विद्यार्थियों के लिए एक शैक्षिक यात्रा का आयोजन किया गया I जिस दौरान कन्याकुमारी स्थित विवेकानन्द पुरम में विवेकानन्द केंद्र द्वारा सभी शिक्षकों को "समर्थ" एवं विद्यार्थियों को "तेजस" प्रतिमान के माध्यम से प्रशिक्षित् किया गया दोनों प्रतिमान शिविरों का सञ्चालन् एक साथ् हुआ I 25 नव.को सभी शिविरार्थियों ने विवेकानन्दपुरम में - गंगोत्री,ग्रामोदय, ARISE AWAKE प्रदर्शनी का अवलोकन किया साथ ही समुद्र के मध्य स्थित राष्ट्रिय शिलास्मारक का चिरस्मरणीय भ्रमण व माँ कन्याकुमारी मंदिर के दर्शन किये जिनकी तप:साधना आज् भी प्रत्येक दर्शनार्थी को प्रेरित करती है I
शिमला — स्वामी विवेकानंद की 150 वीं जयंती के अवसर पर प्रदेश में वर्ष भर विवेकानंद जयंती सार्ध शती कार्यक्रम आयोजित किए जाएंगे, जो 25 दिसंबर से 12 जनवरी, 2014 तक चलेंगे। यह जानकारी शुक्रवार को विवेकानंद केंद्र कन्या कुमारी के राष्ट्रीय उपाध्यक्ष ए बालकृष्णन ने शिमला में आयोजित पत्रकार वार्ता में दी।
सिटी रिपोर्टर, स्वामी विवेकानंद की १५०वीं जयंती को सार्धशती समारोह के रुप में मनाया जाएगा। पिंकसिटी प्रेस क्लब में रविवार को प्रेस वार्ता में स्वामी विवेकानंद सार्धशती समारोह समिति के संयोजक टोकेकर ने बताया कि समारोह के तहत १२ जनवरी 2013 से १२ जनवरी २०१४ तक कार्यक्रम आयोजित किए जाएंगे।

We are assembled here this morning to formally constitute the National Level Committee for the Sardha shati celebration of Swami Vivekananda. A good deal of preparatory work has already been done for this national event. All the state level celebration committees have been formally constituted by this time. Today's meeting is the culmination of the efforts already taken at various levels, right from the Panchayat upwards. This is probably the first time that such a massive organised endeavour has been undertaken for the celebration of a historic event.
Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Kanyakumari celebrated the birth anniversary of Mananeeya Eknathji Ranade as Sadhana Diwas on 19th November, 2012. The school also organized a science and arts exhibition which concluded on that that day.
