Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari in association with District Blindness Control Society, Tinsukia district, Assam conducted one free cataract surgery camp at Chapakhowa government Hospital on 30th March 2019.
Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari in association with District Blindness Control Society, Tinsukia organized one Free Cataract Surgery Camp at Chapakhowa Hospital, Sadiya on 27th and 28th February 2019. A total 31 poor and elderly patients were successfully operated during the camp.
The camp was inaugurated by Sri Jitendra Meena, IPS, Superintendent of Police, Tirap district on 28th January 2019. All the HOD’s were present in the meeting.
On 10th November evening, one CME was arranged and Doctors from Dibrugarh were invited to attend the CME. The objective was to create awareness for Cochlear Implant. Dr. Sanjay Sachdeva gave a power point presentation on Cochlear Implant and had some lively interaction with the Doctors of Dibrugarh. 15 Doctors participated in the programme.

The mobile medical team of Vivekananda Kendra Arun Jyoti conducted three screening camps to identify patients for operations. 52 patients were examined during the screening camps and 25 patients were selected for surgeries. Out of them 20 were operated and rest 5 were medically treated.
Vivekananda Kendra Arun Jyoti organized two Free Medical Camps at Lekang circle of Namasai district, Arunachal Pradesh on 3rd and 4th September 2018. On 3rd Sept. the camp was organized at Rongalibeel, a remote flood affected area of Lekang circle.
Vivekananda Kendra Arun Jyoti in association with Rotary Club, Tinsukia organized one Free Multispecialty Mega Medical Camp at Diyun of Changlang District, Arunachal Pradesh on 12th August.
On 5 August a medical camp was organised at Pothalibam Panitola Moran .More tha 68 patients have involved in the camp out of them maximum patients had Fungal problem.
