Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Matriculation Higher Secondary School, Vallioor celebrated Mathru Pooja at the school premises on March 18, 2023 at 10.30 a.m. 75 parents of the class X students of the school participated in the celebration.
The programme started with the prayer song by Teacher Mrs. Bavani. Vice President of Nanguneri Mrs. Natchiyar presided over the function as the Chief Guest. The Chief Guest lit the lamp and followed by her, The Principal and the parents of the students lit the lamp. Welcome address was delivered by Teacher Mrs. Subbulakshmi. One of the teachers of the school Mrs. Devi led the Mathru Pooja. The students followed the mantra chanted by her and did Paatha pooja to their parents.
Teacher Mrs. Muthulakshmi delivered a speech about Mathru Pooja. The Chief Guest Mrs. Natchiyar also addressed the gathering. The Principal Sri. Muthukrishnan Ji presented a memento to the Chief Guest. Teacher Mrs. Subha Maharasi delivered the vote of thanks and the programme was concluded with Kendra Prarthana.
Prasadam was arranged for all the participants. The programme was well organised by The Correspondent Sri. S. K. Subramanian Ji and The Principal Sri. T. Muthukrishnan Ji.
