VVK, Branch-Baripada, Odisha Pranta organized celebration of International Yoga Day, 2023 in collaboration with Baripada Degree Mahavidyalaya, Baripada HS School, BB College, Baiganbadia,Gadia Anchalika Mahavidyalaya, Mayurbhanj Bar Association &Baripada Judiciary as per the protocol prescribed by AYUSH Ministry, GOI. Our trained yoga prashikshaks conducted the yogabhyas on the premises of these institutions /offices. Response was very positive. We have suggested for yogasatra in their places &some of their response was very positive.

This year, the theme for International Yoga Day 2023 is 'Yoga for Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam,'Yoga is a spiritual discipline that focuses on harmonizing the mind and body. It is an art and science of healthy living. The word ‘Yoga’ comes from the Sanskrit root ‘Yuj’, meaning ‘to join’ or ‘to units.

This year one IYD was observed in each Vistar (4) and in collaboration with four corporates another 4 IYD CELEBRATION were observed. Our karyakartas demonstrated/conducted yoga practices at AIRPORTS AUTHORITY OF INDIA, PUNJAB NATIONAL BANK, MAHANADI COALFIELDS LIMITED and BHARATI AIRTEL. Apart from importance of Yoga, deliberation on this year IYD theme and role of VK for promoting Yoga were made. Total 279 participants at Eight Locations was very encouraging. We have renewed some old contacts and have received assurance for yoga satra/varg.
