Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Dakshin Prant, Tamilnadu Vibhag, Vivekananda Kendra Rural Development Programme, Kovilpatti Branch organised Cultural Competitions for rural school students on 22nd August 2023 at Government Higher Secondary School, Thiruvenkadam, Kuruvikulam Union, Tenkasi.
All the competitions were conducted on the topics related to Swami Vivekananda and Indian culture. The primary objective of these competitions is to introduce and foster an appreciation for Indian culture among the children. Totally 120 students from 7 schools participated in the competitions. Alongside Kendra karyakarthas & Balwadi teachers, 6 teachers and 1 parent were also present at the program.
