On the occasion of MEJSP, three vkvs’ of Barak Valley namely VKV, Ramnagar, Silchar, VKV, Borojalenga and VKV Badarpur organized a former and present teachers’ meet for the teachers’ of VKVs’ of Barak Valley on 23 august 2015 at VKV, ramnagar, Silchar. The program started at 10am.
The Teachers’ Orientation Camp was organised from 14th to 17th August 2015 at VKV (NEC) Baragolai for the teachers who have completed around 7 years in VKVs of Assam and Nagaland, and also the Principals or Vice Principals of these Vidyalayas. A total of 85 senior teachers (51 gents & 34 ladies) including the heads of the Vidyalayas attended this camp, of which the objective was “Consolidation and Strengthening” of our academic activities.
On continuation of Vivekananda Pragya Pratiyogita held on 6th June 2015 in Netaji Vidya Bhawan Girls’ High School, where 111 students had participated in art and quiz competition, an one day Personality Development Camp and prize distribution ceremony was organized by Vivekananda Kendra Barak Vibhag on 29th August 2015. Total 117 students had participated and 20 teachers and 8 karyakartas were present. Respected Pannalal Baksi, Barak vibhag sanchalak delivered speech on Yuva Seva and Personality Development.
"Mein Vivekanand bol Raha hu" sandesh pathan competition was organized by Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Branch Nagpur. In this inter school competition 386 students of 27 schools participated. Children had to learn Swami Vivekananda's thought and deliver them. Many children were dressed as Swamiji and confidently delivered there thought. It was a difficult task for the judges to do selection. 160 among them were selected for the final round which was on 19/8/2015. Out of these 160 participants, 27 were declared winners.
