कन्याकुमारी में राष्ट्रसेवा के लिए समर्पित 680 युवाओं का महाशिविर सार्थक युवा समर्थ भारत अखिल भारतीय महाशिविर का उद्घाटन आज ९ बजे विवेकानन्दपुरम में हुआ।

An all India Residential  Youth camp – Sarthak Yuva – Samarth Bharat for 3 days is organised in Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari for the selected youths to mark the concluding of Birth Centenary celebration of Mananeeya Eknathji Ranade, founder of Vivekananda Rock Memorial and Vivekananda Kendra. Yuva Participants are selected through a  process  - Yuva  Samparka, Yuva Sammelan, Yuva Prashikshan and Yuva Seva.

In our happenings section, we have workshop on Capacity building for Adaption of technology, training programme on cost effective bio-manure as well as biogas plant. In the ‘Green Rameshwaram’ project, we have tree plantation at public places by the NSS students as well as by the community, social engineering at the remote place of Dhanushkodi and different works carried out for the Revival of traditional water bodies. You will be happy to see the different stakeholders including local panchayat joining hands in revitalizing the ancient teerthams.

Monthly News Report - September - 2015 by

175th Free Eye Camp at Vivekanandapuram, Kanyakumari on 07/10/2015. Camp was Sponsored by: State Bank of Travancore, Sangamam Social Circle, Kanyakumari. It was Inaugurated by: Shri K Narayanaswami, Chief Manager, State Bank of Travancore, Kanyakumari Branch.

1  “Sri Rama Jaya Rama” Mantra was chanted during the Deepa Pooja and  Shivalinga Pooja and daily by our Balwadi school children, cultural class students and during monthly meetings by our Balwadi teachers and Social Workers.
