Today our Vidyalaya witnessed the celebration of Krishna Janmashtami. Students assembled in the assembly hall after the attendance had been conducted. The program started at about 9:45 a.m. with prayer.
The program began with the splendid Bharatanatyam dance by the girls of 7th and 8th standard followed by the informative discourse by Anjali Devi about Vishnu dasavathara.
Kannada drama describing the event of Krishna's intervention in Kaurava-Pandava war was the next performance. 
LKG and UKG students adorned the stage as the were dressed up as Vishnu dasavatara. 
The program continued with English drama based on the theme of Mahabharat.
Fancy dress exhibits of Radha and Krishna was the last program. Students from LKG to class 5 participated enthusiastically in it. 
All the teaching and non-teaching staff, all the students, Aa.. Lalita didi, secretary V.K.V. Kallubalu with 25 parents attended the program. Total strength of spectators was about 430.
After the cultural program was over, the procession of the participants of fancy dress presentation was carried out with the band squad in kallubabu village.
Students maintained discipline throughout the program and entire program was well appreciated by all the spectators. The dances as well as both the dramas where much link there compared to the regular performances in the Vidyalaya. That the students maintained their composer and performed their part with precision. students were well worst in their dialogues and the dance participant girls performed their steps with beauty and delicacy.
Altogether it was a wonderful experience.
