Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Karnataka Prant, Hebbal Nagar Branch organised a Krishna Janmashtami programme on 15th August 2025 from 5:30 to 6:30 pm at the Kendra Karyalaya in Hebbal. A total of 60 participants, including children from the Dhruva and Nachiketa Samskara Vargas, attended the programme.
The celebration began with an explanation of the significance of the day by Smt. Rajashree Akka, which helped the children understand the deeper meaning of Krishna Janmashtami. This was followed by story-telling sessions, soulful bhajans, engaging games, and the performance of Arati. The programme beautifully blended devotion and education, and the children participated with great enthusiasm, making the event both joyful and spiritually enriching.
