Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Maharashtra Prant – Vidarbha Vibhag, Yavatmal Branch, celebrated Raksha Bandhan on 10th August 2025 with the participation of 15 Samskarvarga children.
The celebration was observed in a unique way through Vrukshabandhan. The children of Rajhans Society Sanskarvarga tied rakhis to trees, pledging to protect them just as brothers promise to protect their sisters. The act symbolised love and responsibility towards nature, recognising trees as vital companions that provide oxygen, shade, and life.
The programme emphasised that true protection extends beyond human relationships to the care of all living beings, nurturing and safeguarding the environment for future generations.
