Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Dakshin Prant, Tamil Nadu Vibhag, Chennai Branch, celebrated the 77th Independence Day at the Kendra Karyalaya on August 15, 2023. Around 50 persons, including students, yoga participants, Karyakartas, and well-wishers, participated in the celebration.
Mananeeya Sri Balakrishnan ji, the All-India President of VRM & VK, hoisted the National flag around 8:20 am, followed by the National anthem. Following this, Pujyasri Sannyasi Shivarishi (NKT. M. Jeyagopal), a disciple of Sri Paramahamsa Swami Niranjananda Saraswati, delivered a special talk. Sri. Ravi Sharma ji, the All-India Yoga Shibir Pramukh, honored the Chief Guest with a memento.
