Sadhana Diwas, birth day of Mananeeya Eknathji Ranade, founder of Vivekananda Rock Memorial & Vivekananda Kendra, celebrated in Haryana Prant on 1st December 2013 in Chotu Ram University of Science & Technology, Murthal, Sonipat. All together 51 karyakartas from 7 district assembled for the first time under the banner of Vivekananda Kendra. Shri. Anil ji, Prant Sanyojak gave the brief report of Swami Vivekananda Saardh Shati Samaroh (SVSSS) in Haryana and also shared the idea of continuing this work of Swami Vivekananda under the flag of Vivekananda Kendra.
TO commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of “Swami Vivekananda Sardh Shati Samaroh Samiti’’ (SVSSSS) organised a unique two-day National Conference of Vice Chancellors on ‘Swami Vivekananda on Education – Vision for National Resurgence’ om November 16 & 17 in New Delhi. The two-day conference was attended by Vice-Chancellors, Chancellors and Directors of Central, State, deemed and private universities and various renowned educationists from all over the country. The motive of the conference was to discuss the ways of implementing Swamiji’s vision for education.

The mass run was organized in all the VKVs and Branch Centers of VK with great enthusiasm. The school level Ayojan Samitis have not left any stone unturned for organizing the event in the most spectacular manner. The grand event aimed toinculcate the spirit of responsibility amongst youth towards our society and the country.
