The Free Operation Camp organized by Vievakananda Kendra Arn Jyoti in collaboration with Remote Area Medical, Knoxville, USA, concluded successfully on 8th February at Central Hospital, CIL, Margherita, Assam. A total 44 patients were operated for Gall Stone diseases, hernia, appendicitis and other ailments during the camp which was inaugurated on 3rd February by Sri.Y.Matey, Parliamentary Secretary of DOTCL, Govt.of Arunachal Pradesh.
On 17th November 2013 VKV Golaghat organized a Grand Parents Shibir on the occassion of Sardha Shati Samaroha where 180 grand parents were present. Kishori Shibir was held in VKV, Tezpur on 1.11.2013. The purpose of the shibir was the all round development of the adolescent girls. The program started with 3 omkar shanti path and lightening the lamp by the chief guest . The chief guest for the day was Dipali Upadhyay. She is the Samvag Pracharika, Rashtra Sevika Samiti Kendra, Tezpur.

Dainik jugasankha the local daily has organised inter School under-16 football tournament for 2013. VKV, Ramnagar, Silchar was one of the team among 16 teams. The tournament was of league cum knock out system.
