स्वामी विवेकानंद की 150 वीं जयंती के उपलक्ष्य में सिंहनाद प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन कक्षा-8 -
Two days residential camp has been organised on 25-26 December 2013 at Harda, Madhyapradesh by Vivekananda Kendra.
The one day residential camp has been organised in vivekanand kendra karyayalaya, Harda (M.P.) on 26th December 2013. Among 13 resides there were 10 registered participants.
Camp start with reporting for trainees at 5 pm on 25th December, which is followed by Bhajan Sandhya and Parichay Satra. There were two Ganas - "Shaurya" & "Veer".

The mass run was organized in all the VKVs and Branch Centers of VK with great enthusiasm. The school level Ayojan Samitis have not left any stone unturned for organizing the event in the most spectacular manner. The grand event aimed toinculcate the spirit of responsibility amongst youth towards our society and the country. The youth were appealed to study the messages of the youth icon of our country and run forward. The mesmerizing messages were kept in front of them before flagging of the mass run.
Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Mysore branch organized “ SPANDANA” – A Personality Development Camp for students from Meghalaya at Sri Sri Pejawara Swamiji’s Free Hostel at Jayaprakasha Narayana Nagar, Mysore. Camp started on 3rd October. Surya namaskar & Yoga , patriotic songs, Bhjan, creative games, shlokas and stories are the part of camp. 28 students from class 1 to 8th standard attended. On 12th camp concluded.
REGULAR ACTIVITIES:
Yoga class daily morning and evening- 17 people attending.
Samskara Varga- 3 places- 76 students.
Anandalaya daily- 14 students.
Bhajan daily.
Spoken English two days in a week- 37 students.
Vivekananda Kendra Kanniyakumari - Nagerkoil Branch Centre organised 7 days YOGA SATRA at Hindu College on 26th July 2013. The sessions were taken by Aa. Krishnaswamiji, Life Worker. There were Seventy Participants. It was inauguarated by Swa. Chaitanyanandaji, Vellimalai Ashram. By following up of Yoga Satra, Yoga Varga has started .
All India Spiritual Retreat was held in Vivekanandapuram, Kanyakumari from 8-14 August 2013. This being Swami Vivekananda’s 150th Birth Anniversary year, this Retreat had a special significance.
A 10 day duration Yoga Shiksha Shibir was organized of All India Level from 15-24 July 2013 at Vivekananda Kendra Nagdandi- Kashmir.
1. One Day Youth Camp at Govt College Kavoor in the month of June. 36 students participated.
2. One Day Youth Camp at Govt college Car street in the month of August. 50 students participated.
