125th Universal Brotherhood Day programme was organised on 10th September 2017 at Vivekananda Kendra Kaushalam, Hyderabad with 443 students selected from 1000 registered Degree & PG college students. The selection was through a competition on Questionnaire, based on the book "Swami Vivekananda - Hero for Indian Youth".

The programme was conducted from 10:00 AM to 4.45 PM.

Chief Speaker for Inauguration, Sh.Nageshwar Singh, former DGM AP RTC and an exponent

in Bhagavad Gita, delivered the keynote address on "Young India ! Arise!" and initiated the Group Discussion.

The participants were divided into 20 groups named after a Rishi and they discussed the points in their respective groups and at the end of Round selected a Group Representative.

Each of the 20 group representatives then presented the points discussed in the concluding programme before the Chief Guest and Speaker Swami Shitikanthananda Maharaj - a senior monk of Ramakrishna Math, Hyderabad. Swamiji presented roadmap to the participants for the work to be done in his speech. He also explained the relevance of Swami Vivekananda and his message for today's youth towards National reconstruction.

Other dignitaries present during the program were Kendra Prant Sanchalak Justice Sri CV Ramulu, Kendra Prant Sah-Pramukh Sri Prasanna, Prant Asmita Pramukh Sri Karthik, Vibhag Pramukh Sri Sudhakar Reddy, Nagar Pramukhs Dr. Komalamba, Sri Pudi Srinivasulu, Sri BSC Naveen and Sri Sripad Kakade, Kaushalam Administrative Officer Sri Ramakrishna, and many other Karyakartas. Karyakartas from Kadapa also joined the programme apart from our former VK Jhansi Samyojika Smt. Padmarekha didi and Bengaluru Karyakarta Su. Nagaveni.

Highlights of the programme were the active participation and constant motivation of the college faculties who were with the students. Participants were enthralled with the patriotic song and Krida yoga (games).

The best young speakers were awarded prizes. The students resolved to work on the lines of

the road map outlined in the program. The programme concluded with Shanti mantra.
