Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Dakshin Prant, Karnataka Vibhag RT Nagar Branch is conducting a Samskar Varga every Sunday at Samhita School of Performing Arts, Hebbal. The purpose of the Samskar Varga is to inculcate patriotism and cultural values among the children.
On 17th of December 2023, 31 children participated in the Samskar Varga. Two shikshaks and a Guest speaker were also present. The varga's schedule comprised prayer, Subashitha, Slokas, Yoga, Geeth, a story session, games, avlokan, shanthi Mantra, and Kendra Prarthana.
This week featured a special storytelling program presented by Smt. Lalitha Didi, a counselor, life skills trainer, and Principal of Poornaprajna Educational Society. Her unique storytelling art conveyed messages of care, love, sharing, giving, and living in harmony. The children are actively engaging in the Samskarvarga, displaying an enthusiastic commitment to absorbing and imbibing our cultural values. Prasada was also distributed after the varga.
