Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Dakshin Prant, Kerala Vibhag, Vivekananda Kendra Vedic Vision Foundation in Kodungallur organized a Sadhana Diwas program at Sandeepani Shishuvihar on November 19, 2023, attended by a total of 50 people.
Mananeeya Dr. M. Lakshmi Kumari Didi addressed the Shishuvihar children, their parents, and well-wishers of VVF. She narrated the story of Mananeeya Eknathji Ranade and his involvement in constructing the national monument, Vivekananda Rock Memorial. She highlighted Eknathji's initial role as the Organising Secretary of this noble project, his methodical approach in persuading those who opposed its construction, and his notable achievement of collecting 323 signatures from MPs. She emphasized Eknath Ji’s perseverance, exemplified by his efforts through Sri Lal Bahadur Shastri Ji and the then Prime Minister, Sri Jawaharlal Nehru Ji. Additionally, Didi underscored that Vivekananda Kendra stands as a living memorial for Swami Vivekananda, extending its service across the nation through various impactful activities.
