Patriotic Song Competition at ChinchwadOn Friday 11th August 2017 on the eve of our 70th Independence Day celebrations Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Branch Chinchwad had organised its 29th Annual Inter School Patriotic Song Competition 2017 Prof. Ramkrishna More Auditorium, Chinchwad.

Around 75 schools from around Pimpri - Chinchwad had participated in this competition. There were around 1000  plus people including student, teachers and audiences.

The competition started right on time which was divided into 3 groups, Std 1 - 4, Std 5 - 7 and Std. 9 - 10.

The winners of this competition are:

Group 1:

    First Prize - SB Patil School Ravet

    Second Prize - Saraswati Vidyamandir Nigdi

    Third Prize - Manoram Prathamik School Chinchwad

    Consolation Prize - Swami Vievkananda High School Nigdi

Group 2:

    First Prize - Janan Probodhini Nigdi

    Second Prize - Renukadevi School Morwadi

    Third Prize - Citypride School

    Consolation Prize - Swami Vievkananda National School Rahatni

Group 3:

    First Prize - MSS High School Chinchwad

    Second Prize - Podar International School Chakan

    Third Prize - Dr. DY Patil Public School Pradhikaran

    Consolation Prize - City International School Pimpri

The entire atmosphere was filled with an aura of patriotism, bravery. It was just unbelievable. This Chief Guest of Honor for this program were Shri Shravan Hardikar - PCMC Commissioner, VKK Pune Sanchalak Shri Jayant Kulkarni, Pune Vibhag Sanghatak Mrs. Sandhyatai Patil and our corporators Shri Anant Korhale, Shri Bhausaheb Bhoir.

The students of Zhep School and Kamayani School both working in the field for development of special students had also participated which was really nice to watch.

Shri Shravan Hardikar spoke with the students and gave them some tips about their career. He also distributed the prizes to all the winners.
