Vivekananda Kendra Arun Jyoti recently conducted a few Medical Camps in Longding and Tirap district. As most of the villagers of Longding circle are suffering from seasonal diseases like influenza, cold,viral fever and some casualities were there, the Mobile Medical team of Arun Jyoti conducted two Medical Camps at Niausa and Senua villages on 4th and 5th December 2013 respectively. . 367 patients were examined there and free medicines were distributed. 67 Rapid Malaria Tests (RMT) were done by Kendra workers.
On 6th December the same team visited Longliang village of Lazu circle of Tirap district. 67 patients were examined and free medicines were distributed. The health workers under the guidance of Doctor gave deworming medicines to 41 children. After the camp the team visited the Govt.Residential School of Barap and treated 18 sick students. There was a health awareness meeting at the same venue, where the Doctor interacted with the students. He gave more emphasis on personal hygiene to remain healthy.
