ITANAGAR, Jan 13: National Youth Day celebration was marked by various colourful programmes at the Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya here on Friday last.

Speaking on the occasion, Lower Dibang Valley Deputy Commissioner, Mitali Namchoom advised the students to follow the teachings of Swami Vivekananda and increase the use of library to read various types of books to enhance their knowledge.

Education Officer, VKVAPT, PM Unnikrishnan, Principal of VKV Nirjuli, SC Dixit and Principal of VKV Itanagar Dr Kakade Rajendra Chhagan were also present on the occasion.The day was also celebrated by the Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Alumni Association, Hawai at the government higher secondary school there.
