Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, through all its branch centres across Bharat, celebrated the International Day of Yoga 2025 with great enthusiasm, aiming to bring forth Yoga in its true essence—as a way of life based on the vision of Oneness.
Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Arunachal Prant, Siang Vibhag organized the 11th International Day of Yoga by conducting programmes at 18 different locations, with a total participation of 2,063 people. The celebrations were held across various institutions and public venues, including GREF, Department of Forestry, IGJGHS School, JNC School, LBS School, Balek, Mer Kadung, New Thumba, Kendra Karyalaya in Aalo, New Market Govt. Sec. School Aalo, Govt. Sec. School Kombo, Doji, Kerang, Kaying, Komsing, Boleng, Kamba, and KGVB Kamba.
The events witnessed enthusiastic participation from people of all age groups and backgrounds. Participants actively engaged in the practice of Yogasanas and Pranayama following the Common Yoga Protocol prescribed by the Ministry of AYUSH, reflecting the spirit of oneness and holistic well-being promoted through Yoga.
