Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Dakshin Prant, Tamilnadu Vibhag, Vivekananda Kendra Rural Development Programme, Ramanathapuram Branch organized Free Eye Check-up Camp Panchayat Union Primary School, Raghunathapuram, Ramanathapuram on 21st of October, 2023.
Ophthalmologists Dr. Lakshmi Pratap and Dr. Manasa from Aravind Eye Hospital, Madurai, along with Ragunathapuram Ayyappan Temple Guruswamy Sri. Mohan ji, lit the lamp and inaugurated the event.
The eye check-ups were conducted by a dedicated medical team from Aravind Eye Hospital, Madurai. The event facilitated comprehensive eye examinations for 187 outpatients. 26 patients diagnosed with cataract were referred for further treatment at Aravind Eye Hospital, Madurai.
Kendra Well-Wisher Sri. Prabhu Shankar ji and few other well-wishers from the locality participated in the event.
