In tune with our effort to bring the “scattered spiritual forces together”, Vivekananda Kendra Bhubaneswar celebrated the


Chief_Gues_t_Gajapati_Maharaja_giving_way_prizes[1]UB Day by felicitating various Spiritual organisations working to practice and nurture the “Vision of Oneness” and thus in turn prepare the Indian nation to give its message of Spirituality to the world. Representatives of 15 Spiritual organizations/ Sampradayas, involved actively in Service activities on State/National level shared the dais with the CHIEF GUEST revered Gajapati Maharaja Sri Dibyasingha Deb and Sri Surasen Jena, Prant Pramukh-Odisha Prant, Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari. Nagar Pramukh Smt Lilima Mohapatra welcomed the guests. Sri Surasen Jena ji outlined the objective of celebrating the UB day as also the purpose of bringing the various spiritual forces on one platform. Swami Sivachidananda ji Maharaj of Divine Life Society, Sadhwi Shree Gyanpragya from Terapantha jain Sampradaya and Baba Ramcharan Das Maharaj of Shree (Ramanandi) Sampradaya spoke on “VISION OF ONENESS – Basis of Universal Brotherhood”. This was followed by presentation of citations to representatives of aech organization followed by 2 minutes message by the respective representative. Chief Guest Sri Dibyasingha Deb, Gajapati Maharaja while giving his concluding remarks said that Vivekananda Kendra is doing precisely what Swami Vivekananda had wished for by putting effort to bring the various spiritual forces together. Earlier 2 students who won the Recitation Competition in Odiya and English category respectively presented Swamiji’s 11th September Chicago address.


Apart from the three organisations mentioned earlier the other organizations represented on the dais were Chinmay Mission, Prajapita Brahmakumari ishwariya Vishwavidyalaya, Akhil Vishwa Gayatree Shaktipeeth, Patanjali Yogapeeth, Yoga Vedanta Seva Samiti, Satya Sai Organisation, Niranjan Mission, Odisha Sikh Pratinidhi Board, Shree sampradaya, Madhwagaudiya Vaishnava Sakpradaya, Terapantha Jain Smpradaya and ISKCON.
