INSPIRING INCIDENTS

(from our balwadi teachers & workers)

1. K. SAKUNTHALA, MANNARKOIL, TIRUNELVELI DISTRICT ::

One day when I was teaching a Tamil class a song will come. In that song the meaning will come for the distribution of the food to father, mother, brother and child. At that time one boy told that I will give to my grand father also. We wondered that the thought of distribution of food to all came to the mind of the boy even in his childhood. That incident impressed me very much.

2. C. SARASWATHI, AMBASAMUDHRAM, TIRUNELVELI DISTRICT ::

On 13.08.2010 we went to the colleges of the Ambasamudram area for the Velha Velhave programme. First we went to Papanasam. We met the principal and then we went to Sivanthipuram for the cultural programme donation. Then we went to Alwarkurichi and met the Principal and returned at about 2.00 p.m. Next we have to go to Ambai college. If we take food at that time the time will be getting delayed. So we avoided for food and went for the bus stand. At that time on the way in a temple they called us and provided prasatham. We were unable to refuse and hence took that and then proceeded with our job. We felt very much and impressed and thought that it was the Prasadam of Swamiji. We decided to sacrifice the noon food for the service of the Swamiji, but Swamiji has provided the noon food which cannot be forgotten by us.

3. N. CHANDRA, AMBASAMUDRAM, TIRUNELVELI DISTRICT ::

At Papanasam during the time of Ammavasai all the devotees of the Arulmigu Papanasam Valambigai will perform special poojas in the temple. So we approached the Administrative officer to get the permission for the book sales. First he answered that he will consult with other executives and inform. Then when we went he informed that he will contact the Police department and inform.

Again when we went he told that he has to consult with some other people. Thus he was refusing and the final day for the pooja also came. We prayed the God and Swamiji. At that time an young man came to us and he told that he has watched us and helped us to get the permission over phone immediately. Really we wondered and astonished the reply for our prayer.

4. C. MUNEESWARI, SIVAGIRI, THOOTHUKUDI DISTRICT ::

At our balwadi school we were teaching about the charity character of Swami Vivekananda. One beggar went through the street of Selvi Muthurani’s house who was a balwadi student. Her mother refused to offer anything for the beggar. But the balwadi student gave two rupees to the beggar which was given to her. Her mother wondered about her daughter and came to our school and gladly informed us. We were so happy to hear the same.

5. M. KRISHNAVENI, VALAYARVADI, RAMNAD DISTRICT ::

Selvi Muvitha studied in our balwadi school last year. This year she is studying Ist Std., in the elementary school. She is residing near my house. Daily her mother will help for bathing and everything. I will watch daily. She will take food only after the prayer and Santhi manthra of Om Brahmarpanam. Eventhough she has left our balwadi school she has not forgotten to say the prayer before the food daily, which impressed me very much.

Yours

In the Service of Lord
