Samarth Bharat Parva was celebrated by Vivekananda Kendra Nashik by organizing many functions. To initiate ‘Sinhnad’ programe, seminar of professors was organized on the book "माझा भारत - अमर भारत" -"Maza Bharat – Amar Bharat".
Total 31 colleges were approached,24 professors enrolled for seminar out of which 20 professors took part in seminar. During Samarth Bharat Parva period we sent selected few of them as our representatives to various schools, colleges& public functions to give Kendra parichay & lecture on Swamiji. In all 19 functions were held & 2800 participants attended it.
On the occasion of Swamiji’s Jayanti public function was held. Dr. Ashokji Modak renowned thinker & orator gave speech on subject, Swami Vivekananda’s Thoughts – need of the hour,as a culmination of Samarth Bharat Parva . Dr.Ashokji Modak during his speech gave various examples of how the Swamiji’s thoughts are relevant today & are the need of the hour. 300 people attended the function.
As a part of the programe of Swamiji’s 150th anniversary ‘Vivek Vichar Sahitya Seva’ has published ‘Ameriket Swamiji’, ‘Avismarniya Swamiji’ & ‘Sanghatana ani Karykarta’ as first three books on this occasion.
