Swami Vivekananda Jayanti celebration by Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Tinsukia includes the release of school magazine "Pratibha".
Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Tinsukia organised the SAMARTHA BHARAT PARVA, with the slew of programmes.
1. Singing of Vande Mataram in the Morning Assembly.
2. A number of great speakers were called to englighten the students on the strengths of India. The guest speakers included our Ex-Students, eminent doctor of the town also.
3. Chanting of Gayatri Mantra ( 11 times ) in the morning assembly from January 1, 2011.
4. Elocution competition.
5. Programme on "sharing teaching experiences" was held.
6. Quiz on Glorious history of Assam , contribution of Assam to enrich Indian Culture.
7. Slide Show on strength of India was there on almost every day in the Morning Assembly. ( CDs on Samarth Bharat Parva sent from
Vivekananda Kendra, Kanyakumari, were shown to the students ).
8. House-wise project work on Samartha Bharat was assigned to the students.
9. A mini Marathon was organsied on January 12, 2011 in the early morning both for girls and boys.
10 With divine blessings the Samartha Bharat Parva concluded on January 12, 2011 with the colorful Cultural Programme depicting the rich cultural heritage of India.
