The Vivekananda Kendra Institute of Culture (VKIC) Sanman 2011 was conferred on Kum Aningiu Meriam, vice president of Zeliangrong Mipui of Nagaland on the occasion of foundation day of the institute held at Guwahati on January 31.

The shibir was inaugurated on 22nd January by Swami Kamalatmanandaji, President, Ramakrishna Math, Madurai. Susri Nivedita Bhide, Vice President, Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Dr R Dinakaran, Chairman of the State Committee and Sri Ananda Amritam of Anantha Metals were also present and spoke on the occasion.
Vivekananda Kendra, Patna Branch organised one day workshop in the second phase of "विजय ही विजय युवा अभियान" - " "Vijay Hi Vijay Yuva Abhiyan". Selected students of the first phase were the participant in which competition was conducted in 7 collage of the city.
Vevekanada Kendra Rajkot Branch celebrated National Youth Day on 12th Jan 2011 with "જાગ ઊઠા રણધીર" - "JAG UTHA RANDHIR" - One Day Shibir. Total 140 Shibirarthis and 21 Karyakartas participated in at Bal Bhavan Rajkot.
Vivekananda Jayanti programmed was celebrated on 17th January 2011 by Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Branch Nagpur at Scientific hall in which about 450 people attended the programme. Shri Anand Bagdia Nagar Prmukh presided over the programme in which Ma. Mukulji Kanitkar delivered the lecture on the subject "मैं ही भारत हुं" - "Mai Hi BHARAT Hun".
Utsarga Samaroh for Class 10th and 12th of Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Arunachal Pradesh for the coming CBSE examinaiton at Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh. Dr N Gopalakrishnan, Senior Scientist, CSIR, addressing the VKV parents and teachers in a Kutumba Sammelan organised in Vivekananda Hall, Itanagar.
Samarth Bharat Parva was celebrated by Vivekananda Kendra Nashik by organizing many functions. To initiate ‘Sinhnad’ programe, seminar of professors was organized on the book "माझा भारत - अमर भारत" -"Maza Bharat – Amar Bharat".
