Celebrations

Vivekananda Kendra,Jodhpur celebrated the Janma Divas of Ma. Eknath ji Ranade- Sadhana Divas Program of this year at Kendra Karyalay, Geeta Bhavan on 19th November 2013.

Vivekananda Kendra, Capital Complex organized Sadhana Diwas (The Birth Day of Mananiya Eknath Ranade, the founder of Vivekananda Kendra) on 16th November 2013,

It is then cheerful mind that is persevering.
It is the strong mind that hews its way through a thousand difficulties.

V K Mangalore - Taluk Level Cultural Competition at Bantwala, Mangalore District:

REGULAR ACTIVITIES:
Yoga class daily morning and evening- 17 people attending.
Samskara Varga- 3 places- 76 students.
Anandalaya daily- 14 students.
Bhajan daily.
Spoken English two days in a week- 37 students.

A GRAND HINDU SAMMELAN AT VIVEKANANDA KENDRAM KANNIYAKUMARI

On 3rd September forenoon, there was a Painting Competition for the students of classes V to VII. Students from 6schools took part. On the same day, in the afternoon was arranged a narration competition for the VIth and VII th classes.Topic was ‘narration of any incident’ from Swamiji’s life. Students from 9 schools took part.

Vivekananda Kendra Chinchwad conducted a Inter-school Patriotic song competition.A large number of schools to participate for this event. The complete atmosphere here was mesmerised with beautiful songs sung by the students.

विश्व बन्धुत्व दिवस के पावन अवसर पर हर वर्ष की भान्ति इस वर्ष भी दिनांक 14.09.2013 को सनातन धर्म, वरिष्ठ माध्यमिक पाठशाला, गंज बाज़ार, शिमला में उठो जागो प्रतियोगिता आयोजित की गई । प्रतियोगिता में विभिन्न स्कूलों से आए लगभग 28 छात्र/छात्राओं ने भाग लिया । प्रतियोगिता प्रमुख एवं सह-संयोजक श्री आशुतोष अग्रवाल तथा श्री सुभाष चैहान, सह-संयोजक, विवेकानन्द केन्द्र, शिमला शाखा स्थित नाभा द्वारा प्रतियोगिता का आयोजन किया गया । मंच का संचालक केन्द्र के सह-संयोजक श्री सुभाष चैहान द्वारा किया गया ।

Utsava celebrated on 22nd morning  in yoga varga. Bhajan, guru shloka, karma yoga shlokas chanted.  7 days “Omkar meditation”  class started. 18 yoga participants attended the class and utsava. At 5 pm there was  Samuhika Sri Satyanarayana Pooja performed at Kendra office. 76 people attended the pooja. At the end prasada distributed.At 7 pm there was a Boudhik.
