Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari organized Free Speech and Language Therapy Camp at Vivekananda Kendra Medical Center, Laipuli, Tinsukia, Assam from 1st to 20th June 2019.

Inauguration Ceremony of Vivekananda Kendra Medical Centre on 5th-June-2019 was really a great moment for all of us... added another service mission in our list.

Vivekananda Kendra is running a educational project - Anandalaya Rabha community of Goalpara district since 2014, Assam. There are total 23 Acharya working in Goalpara District. From 13 to 17 April 2019 Acharya Training Camp was organized.

Vivekannada Kendra running one teacher school in the interir of Assam called Anandalaya. The project involves 3500 students, 185 yuva karyakart as, and around 1500 village elders in Gram samity of each aanandalaya.

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari in association with District Blindness Control Society, Tinsukia district, Assam conducted one free cataract surgery camp at Chapakhowa government Hospital on 30th March 2019.

Matri Puja of mothers of class X was performed at VKV Borojalenga on 15 February. Students of class X appearing AISSE, 2019 performed the ritual under guidance of Sri Santosh Dubey, Sanskrit teacher of VKV (NEEPCO) Umrangso.

The Vivekananda Kendra Institute of Culture today conferred its VKIC Sanmaan for the year 2019 on Nabam Tata of Arunachal Pradesh. The honour is in recognition of his lifetime endeavour to protect and propagate the culture of the Nyishi Community, which in turn has inspired indigenous faith movements in other parts of the State.

A 5 days weaving workshop was organized at Mangaldoi (Assam). 5 standard products will be made by 25 women and we shall organize a sales tour in jan 3-18.
