The Universal Brotherhood Day, which commemorates the famous speech of Swami Vivekananda on brotherhood, delivered on 11 September, 1893 in Chicago was observed across the state with various activities, especially a ‘Run for Brotherhood’.
A leadership cum spoken English training programme for the students of classes XI and XII was conducted at Kimin Community Hall on Sunday.
The training is conducted under the English Language Development Programme of the project Vivek Kiran Project -an educational initiative by the Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalayas Arunachal Pradesh Trust (VKVAPT) and Tata Trusts Mumbai.

Accordingly, three best students in academics, sports and performing arts in each college will be given the awards every year.
