Vivekananda Kendra Vidhyalaya

Sri Krishna Janmastami is a grand celebration the Vidyalaya observe every year. This year too on 13 August it was celebrated in the school premises.

Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari - Badarpur and Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya - Badarpur celebrated Rakshabandhan with BSF youths at Bangladesh Border. 

A leadership cum spoken English training programme for the students of classes XI and XII was conducted at Kimin Community Hall on Sunday.

The training is conducted under the English Language Development Programme of the project Vivek Kiran Project -an educational initiative by the Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalayas Arunachal Pradesh Trust (VKVAPT) and Tata Trusts Mumbai.

The following programmes were organized by VKV Borojalenga prakalpa on the occasion of International Yoga day

A 5 day non-residential Personal Development camp was organized by Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Badarpur at Anandadham Kalibari, Badarpur, from 23rd May’17 to 27th May’17

Active Learning Methodology Workshop is conducted Vivekananda Kendra Shiksha Prasar Vibhag in Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya Ramnagar, Silchar (16 to 18 February 2017)

A  workshop for Maths teachers was organised on 8 and 9 January 2017 at VKV Dibrugarh. It was organised with the objective of strengthening / enriching our own resource. Besides the resource persons like Sri B. M. Naidu, Vice Principal, VKV Dibrugarh, Kum. Sudipta Saha, VKV Tinsukia, Sri Dhan Pradhan, VKV (NEEPCO) Umrangso and Smt.

Vivekananda Kendra Shiksha Prasar Vibhag organised 3 days “3rd Social Science Exploratory Project” at Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya,Tingrai from 28th December to 30th December 2016. In this entire Project 19 VKVs from all over Assam & Nagaland including 2021 students participated and surveyed 2648 families. The total number 26 Villages and 09 Sattras were shown through power point presentation by our students.
