INAUGURATION OF APPROACH ROAD
The approach road of VKV, Suklai was inaugurated on 25th April, 2012 by Sri Ganesh Kachari, EM, BTAD.
WORKSHOP FOR TEACHERS/PARENTS
Her Holiness Swamini Pramananda, fondly known as ‘Ammaji’, a highly regarded teacher of Vedanta and a spiritual guide, visited VKV Tinsukia during first week of May 2012 and conducted workshop/spiritual retreat for teachers and parents.
The Science & Mathematics workshop was started in VIVEKANANDA KENDRA VIDYALAYA(VKV), Ramnagar, Silchar from 4th of August 2012 under the guidance of Kum. Lalita Didi, Joint Secretary Vivekananda Kendra Siksha Prasar Vibhag. Two resource teachers Sri Sonu Gupta of VKV, Tinsukia and Sri Biju Rai Singhania of VKV, Umrangso along with ten resource students from VKV Tinsukia, VKV, Dibrugarh, VKV Tingrai, VKV Umrangso were present.
It was an unique privilege for NEA Sadiya to have been invited to witness the four days. Entrepreneurship “I create” workshop organized under the able guidance of VKSPV.
Vivekananda Kendra Shiksha Prasar Vibhag, Assam organised a Science Exhibition Training camp at Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya (NEEPCO), Umrangso, Assam for the students of different Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalayas on 8th, 9th and 10th May 2012. On the first two days,
Vivekananda Kendra Arun Jyoti recently conducted one Health Worker Training Camp at Dibrugarh under Health Service Forum. 23 youths from interior parts of Tirap and Changlang districts of Arunachal Pradesh participated in this five days residential camp.
The Numaligarh Refinery Ltd. Conference Hall was inaugurated on 21 March, 2012, at the Vivekananda Kendra Institute of Culture premises in Uzan Bazar, Guwahati.
Vivekananda Kendra has got a new building at Pan Bazar, Guwahati. The Griha Pravesh of this building at Panbazar, Guwahati was solemnized traditionally on Phalguna Shukla Tritiya tithi (24 February 2012).
Under the leadership of Vivekananda Kendra Prasar Vibhag, Tezpur, Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya (NEEPCO) Umrangso hosted a Career Counselling Session for class XII students of the school and the locality at its premises on 6 Feb’ 2012. The expert counsellors from Sree Saraswati Thygaraja College (STC), Pollachi, Tamilnadu, conducted a three-hour long interactive session with the students on the ways and means of identifying one’s potential interest and skills in various areas of learning and works.
