On the occasion of Gurupurnima, Vivekananda Kendra Madurai organised three programmes at Balaji Nagar, TVS Higher Secondary School, and TVS Nagar. Totally 196 people participated in the celebrations.
On 2nd July 2023, Gurupurnima was celebrated at Kendra Karyalaya, Balaji Nagar from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The schedule of the programme consisted of Shantipath, bhajans, Vivekavani and cultural programmes expressing Guru bhakti performed by Samskarvarga children etc. 54 people took part in this celebration.
On 7th July 2023, Gurupurnima programme was organised in TVS Higher Secondary School, Jaihindpuram. As a part of this programme, Matru puja was conducted. 90 people (45 children and their mothers) took part in this celebration.
On 9th July 2023, Gurupurnima was celebrated at Kendra Karyalaya, TVS Nagar from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. The schedule of the programme consisted of Shantipath, bhajans, Vivekavani and cultural programmes expressing of Samskarvarga children, and a talk on importance of Gurupurnima etc. 52 people participated in this celebration.
