Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari, Dakshin Prant, Kerala Vibhag, Thiruvananthapuram Branch celebrated Swami Vivekananda Jayanti and National Youth Day at the Kendra Karyalaya in Chitra Nagar, Vattiyoorkavu on 12th January, 2024 from 5.30 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. A total of 30 people participated in the event.
The program commenced with a prayer by Samskara Varga children, followed by bhajans. Pushpanjali was offered by all to Swami Vivekananda, and his message was deliberated upon. The practice of Pranayama - Nadi Shuddhi, Bhramari, and Omkara chanting were also conducted. Jeevan vrati karyakarthas Kum. Kalyani Didi and Kum. Priyamvada Didi led the Jayanti celebrations. The program concluded with the Shanti Mantra.
