In our school we celebrated ‘ Mothers Day’ in a grand manner on 15.02.2012. The function commenced with devotional prayer song by our teacher. Next our principal welcomed the gathering of the function. Mrs. J. Ananda valli [ Sub – Divisional Manager (IT) L.I.C of India, Tirunelveli ] as a chief guest and made a great privilege for us. Next Mr. M. Siva kumar [Manager, L.I.C of India, Vallioor Branch ] felicitated the function.Our school correspondent Mr. S.K. Subramanaian graced the occasion with his support in all the arrangements.
Lot of games and competitions were conducted for the mothers and the winners were honoured by giving prizes. Many mothers took more efforts and interestingly prepared more delicious and variety of dishes from ‘wheat’. The winners were appreciated. In this function “The Best student Awards” were given by L.I.C for the students from class I to X. At last the celebration came to end with Kendra Prayer.
