Guru Purnima

Gurupurnima was celebrated by Vivekananda Kendra workers at various places in Ajment on July 12.On program was held in Shiva Temple near Vivekananda Kendra office.

On the occasion of Guru Poornima Vivekananda Kendra, West Bengal organized Guru Poornima Programe at Savitri Kanya Pathshala, Bura Bazar, Kolkata on 11th July.

Utsava celebrated on 22nd morning  in yoga varga. Bhajan, guru shloka, karma yoga shlokas chanted.  7 days “Omkar meditation”  class started. 18 yoga participants attended the class and utsava. At 5 pm there was  Samuhika Sri Satyanarayana Pooja performed at Kendra office. 76 people attended the pooja. At the end prasada distributed.At 7 pm there was a Boudhik.

Maharshi Veda Vyasa’s jayanti which is celebrated as Gurupornima, falls on Ashadh Pornima according to Hindu calendar. This year it was on 22nd July. Swami Vivekananda envisaged the temples of ‘OM’ all over, where all will come together and work for the betterment of the humanity. Vivekananda Kendra is an instrument to translate Swamiji’s message in reality.

આપ સહુ ને જણાવતા આનંદ થાય છે કે વિવેકાનંદ કન્યાકુમારી શાખા સુરત દ્વારા ગુરુ પૂર્ણિમા ની ઉજવણી સફળતાપૂર્વક કરવામાં આવી હતી આ કાર્યક્રમ નું આયોજન અષાઢ સુદ પૂર્ણિમા 2069 સોમવાર ને તા. 22/07/2013ના રોજ સાંજે 6:30 થી 8:30 દરમ્યાન એલ. પી. સવાણી વિદ્યાભવન, અડાજણ સુરત ખાતે કરવામાં આવ્યું હતું.
