Reached Chennai on 14th July evening. Then went to Vivekananda Kendra, Chennai for lodging. Next day i.e. 15th July, we all the teacher staff went to visit two schools where they are following ABL. There we observed how teachers guiding the ABL students of their school.
Anamitra Phukan student of Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalaya, Golaghat grabbed the Gold Medal in 50m Back Stroke CBSE East Zone at Kanpur and qualified for the national level at Merrut.
Vivekananda Kendra Assam Prant, Branch-Tinsukia organized one free eye camp on 2nd October 2015 at Sankardev Vidya Niketan of Makum in Tinsukia district. The camp was organized in collaboration with Lion K.K.Saharia Eye Hospital of Dibrugarh.

The Principal of the Vidyalaya, Sri Ramesan P.V., who has completed 25 years in Vivekananda Kendra Vidyalayas, been awarded the prestigious National Award for teachers 2014 by the Govt. of India for his meritorious service throughout his teaching career on 5 th Sept 2015.
On 20th September, Vimarsha was organized on the topic - Service in Worship at Rastriya Hindi Pustakalaya at Tinsukia. Vimarsha was started at 3:30 pm with vedic chanting and ended at 5pm. There were 33 people attended the program.
