Amravati branch of Vivekananda Kendra Kanyakumari celebrated Universal Brotherhood day on 11th Sep., 2015 at Nagar vachanalay, Amravati. The programme started at 6.30 pm. Shri Narendra Zade, owner of the famous Naval Book Depot was the chief guest. Sau Aruna Deshpande of Nagpur presided over the function. Main speaker Ku. Shubhangi Nakshine, Vidarbh Mantri, Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad elaborated Swami Vivekananda's life and his message. Nagar Sanyojak Shri Sanjay Pachkhede conducted the programme.
Kendra is celebrating Mananeeya Eknathji Ranade's birth centenary from 19th Nov., 2014 to 19th Nov., 2015. In this connection Kendra's Marathi Prakashan Vibhag has brought out an inspiring book about ma Eknathji's reminiscences in Marathi named DARSHAN DHYEYASAKTICHE written by Shri Arun Karmarkar. The book was published on this occasion and copies were given to the dignitaries on the dais. Vote of thanks was proposed by Shri Mandvekar. The programme ended with Shanti Mantra.
Literature of Swami Vivekananda was made available on the occasion for the audience.
